At midnight this morning the Sundance Film Festival announced their midnight program.  How appropriate.
As always it’s an eclectic group with horror and comedy intermixed.  The two most recognizable movies are Rob Zombie’s 31 and Kevin Smith’s Yoga Hosers.  Zombie has been working on this mysterious project for a while and started his own crowd funding to get it made.  His movies are known for being gory and disturbing and this marks his first time at Sundance.

Kevin Smith has been to Sundance a few times. Smith’s Clerks premiered there in 1994 and he has been back several times most recently with Tusk in 2014. Yoga Hosers stars Smith’s daughter along with Johnny Depp’s Daughter as two yoga instructors who have to battle evil.   Johnny Depp returns in the role as Guy Lapointe the same role he played in Tusk.

The 9 movies announced are below. Let us know what you think of this line up?
