The 2016 Sundance Film Festival is coming to an end and last night they announced their Jury and Audience Award winners.
For the 4th year in a row the top Jury Prize and Audience Prize went to the same movie. This year it has been the most talked about movie of the festival Birth of a Nation. The movie premiered to rave reviews and was snatched up in a record deal by Fox Searchlight.

Another one of the most talked about movies Swiss Army Man also known as the Daniel Radcliffe Farting Corpse movie won Best Director for The Daniels. This is a bit of a surprise since the movie really split audiences and was notorious for causing lots of walk outs.

Check out the full list of winners below. Take note because come Oscar season next year I am sure we will be talking about some of these.

Though it has been three years that passed, I still want to congratulate the winners of The 2016 Sundance Film Festival! I am delighted to see that there are are still a lot of people who have been putting so much passion on the film that they produce! It is all about the story and the actors that they have. All elements of the film should be their so that the juries might consider the film to win. It all depends on the taste of the judges! I am waiting for the result of this year's The Sundance Film Festival!
