The next Oscar host has been selected and it could make for a Legen-wait for it-dary night.
Neil Patrick Harris who has previously hosted the Tony's and Emmy's will be doing the hosting duties. Reportedly Ellen who hosted last year passed on it this year as did Mary Louis Dreyfous. Harris has become the defacto host for many shows and while I am sure he will be great at the Oscars it feels like an unoriginal choice.
