While we haven't heard officially from Warner Brothers it looks like Ben Affleck will be taking over the reins of Batman. And when we say taking over we mean in every aspect. It looks like he will star, direct, and co-write the next solo Batman movie. It's not a big stretch for him. He directed the Best Picture winning Argo and won an Oscar for writing Good Will Hunting so he seems like he could be up for the task. Joining him with the task of co-writing is Geoff Johns a long time comic book and TV writer.
When we will see this movie is unknown. We will first see Affleck as Batman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice then for at least a small part in Suicide Squad then as part as Justice League. Affleck is planning on directing Live by Night prior to the Batman solo film. That movie is also at Warner Brothers and should begin filming in the fall with a release in November of 2016.
