2016 FBOMB AWARDS SEEKING LOCAL FILMS

MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin November 24, 2015 – The Film Bloggers of Milwaukee and Beyond are accepting screeners and press kits of local films to be considered for the 2016 FBOMB Awards.
The Film Bloggers of Milwaukee and Beyond (FBOMB) is a group of bloggers from the Milwaukee area that cover different aspects of films. As the only local film group dedicated to Milwaukee we see it as our duty to highlight the best Milwaukee Films of the year.
This year we are having a nomination process where each voter gets to nominate their favorite films of the year. Since local films are not as widely seen by everyone we want to give local filmmakers the opportunity to get their films seen by each voter.
We consider a local film one where the director, screenwriter, or producers are from Milwaukee or one of the surrounding counties (Ozaukee, Racine, Washington, and Waukesha).
We will be giving out local awards for
Best Film
Best Documentary
Best Short Film
Best Documentary Short Film
Best Director
Best Screenwriter
Best Actor
Best Actress
Nomination process starts December 15th and ends January 14th. Nominees will be announced on January 15th with final voting ending on January 31st. Winners will be announced soon after.
