Deadline sat down with director Antoine Fuqua and talked about Jake Gyllenhaal in next years "Southpaw". The movie is about a boxer who loses everything then has to fight his way to redemption. The premise doesn't sound like anything new but the picture of Gyllenhaal sure makes it look like it will be something to see and if he doesn't get an Oscar nomination for Nightcrawler will probably for this one.
