The Academy has announced the 10 Animated Shorts and 10 Live Action shorts advancing to the Oscars. While shorts are usually unknown and I haven’t seen many of them there are two interesting omissions.
Disney has won plenty of animated shorts over the years and last year’s Fest was one of their best shorts. But despite the love for Frozen at the Oscars a couple of years ago Frozen Fever failed to make the cut. Also, Pixar had two feature films this year and with them comes two short films. But only Sanjay’s Super Team which will screen before The Good Dinosaur made the cut. Lava which screened before Inside Out got left off.
Has anyone seen any other movies on the lists? What movies do you think should have been included?
